About Me
I was born in a little town in Mexico and was adopted 23 hours later by the most wonderful family in America. My grandmother started the El Burrito restaurant chain; so I grew up in the kitchen with my mother and father working at the original restaurant in Livingston, Tx. My mother and father divorced when i was 7 so i became my mother's helper at her house cleaning business. We cleaned houses all over for years. I was honored to help her because she payed me 25% of every house we cleaned together. Along with that, she gave me $5 for every "A" I received on my report card. Needless to say I was a straight "A" student with the occasional "B." I worked with my mother until I was 12. At 12 I went to work as a stableman for my aunt's barn & rodeo arena in Dayton, Tx. It was my first real job as a kid. I loved it because it took my mind off sports; as I wasn't able to play because I had been diagnosed with 2 heart conditions (Wolff Parkinson White & Ebsein's Anamoly) the previous year. So the barn was my life. We bailed hay for resale and I got to even drive the tractor if I got my friends from school to come work with me. They always quit because of the Texas heat; I also learned how to buy and sell to make a profit at the barn because we would go and pickup wood shavings from a wood factory for "FREE" and sell them to every barn in the county for their horse stall's bedding. It was a beautiful 100% profit. I worked at the barn until i was 18. I graduated from Hardin High School in 2008 and I worked small jobs and DJ'd to save enough money to start my first discount cigarette store in 2012 in Liberty, Tx with $17,000. I remember the first day I opened; I made over $700. That was the best $700 I ever made because It was MY $700 from My company; considering my rent was only $400. I worked 9 to 9 every day for a year until I moved it on main street and hired employees. I kept opening stores to have more streams of income until the covid pandemic hit the world. I was obligated to sell my brand to Smoke City because I wasn't prepared for my sales to plummet. I sold my brand at the end of 2020; And now I'm a full time real estate guy with the experience and drive to make things happen.
